On August 19, 1992, I endured a life, changing spinal cord injury, the result of a fall down my basement steps. Thankfully, I still have the ability to walk, however, I have a little to know use of my arms/hands/fingers. I remember on the first day of therapy, my occupational therapist telling me “John, you cannot dwell on what does NOT work for you any longer, but accentuate what still DOES“. And for me that is my big mouth, I mean voice… Which I am putting to good use today.
